Macrame Magick: Basic Knot Wall Hanging W/ Cortney

Learn the basics of macrame with Cortney of Curious Creations Macrame and make your own 8” wide custom wall hanging!

This class will be for beginners, or intermediates looking to improve their skills. The length and color choice is up to you! You will learn several different knot types in this class, so you can apply these knot-tying skills in more advanced classes as we go. This workshop will be one of three, each building on previously learned skills.

In our 2nd class, we will learn how to make a macrame boob wall hanging.

The 3rd class will be graduating to make your very own vulva wall hanging

For this first workshop we will learn 3 different knots:

Square knot

Double half-hitch knot

Spiral knot

She got into macrame during the pandemic to keep her plant babies safe from her fur babies. Macrame plant hangers quickly turned into wall hangings and the creations spiraled out from there. Today, Cortney makes all types of macrame and is always open to new project
