Knitting Basics Class
Learn the basics of knitting during three 1.5 hour classes! Classes are conducted over three weeks, with a small amount of homework in between.
Skills needed: None!
Skills learned: cast on, knit, purl, bind off, basic knitting terminology and pattern reading.
Materials:
Size 8 non-metal knitting needles
250-300 yards worsted weight yarn in a light color
Darning needle or notion kit/set
Preparation: Come to the store early enough to purchase supplies and wind your yarn into balls. Our staff will be happy to assist you!
