Beginner Pole Edgework
Come explore your ankles’ full range of motion in stilettos. In this workshop we will cover different types of box and heel contact points with the floor, and explore different pathways around the pole.
Required:
knee pads
socks
platform pole heels 6”-8”. (Absolutely no street heels. Shoe must secure to foot, e.g. ankle strap or boots)
Pre-Requisites:
comfortable with pole walk, basic pirouette, and simple movement around the pole while wearing heels
taken at least one session of pole 2 or instructor approval
comfortable holding body weight in split grip, and invert grip (knee tuck) for at least 3-5 sec at a time.
student understands that we will be moving through a full range of motion in the ankle, both point and flex as well as wing and sickle.
