Adult Wheel 101 - 6 week course
Ages: Adults 15+
Fee: $196 per person
6-week session, meets once a week
Get muddy and learn the basics to throwing on the potter's wheel in our 3 week course. Learn to center clay, pull basic forms (i.e., mug, plate, vase, etc), trim and glaze. Our intimate class sizes offer opportunity for students to have an open dialogue with their instructor
who will demonstrate at each class. This course is great for those who have never touched clay, those that need a refresher or those that are looking to practice and develop their throwing skills as a beginner. Every student will receive 20 lbs of clay (includes firing and glazes).
In the 6 week course, we will expand on forms, surface designs and glazing techniques.
Practice, Practice, Practice!
Pottery takes patience and practice. Four free practice visits good during the course and access to our tools and equipment. Link to register for Open Clay Lab practice sessions will be in your confirmation email.
