Introducing...Ann Kim and Acrylic Painting: Materials and Methods
Tuesday, September 29, 6pm
Join the DSA for an acrylic painting workshop! Meet instructor, Ann Kim, and learn about the materials and methods you need to know about to be successful when painting with acrylics. Follow along and use the kit included in registration to explore acrylic painting!
Registrants will pick up their acrylic painting kits from the High Street Gallery (48 High Street, Dayton) from 5pm-7pm on Monday September 28.
Registration is limited. Registration is only $5 thanks to an MCACD Special Projects Grant! (If the $5 is cost prohibitive, e-mail director@daytondsa.org or call 937-228-4532 for free registration!)
Acrylic Painting Kit Includes
- Golden Acrylic Paint A-Z kit
- 1" Brush
- 1 piece Yuppo Paper
- 2: 6x6" Fiberboard Artist Panels
- 1 piece pallet paper
Additional Materials Needed
- Water cup to rinse and clean brush
- Rag or paper towels to dry brush
Ann Kim
Ann Kim is the Chair of Fine and Performing Arts at IU East. She received her MFA in Studio Art from Mills College in 2008. Ann has exhibited her work throughout the US and is a practicing artist with a focus in painting.
Introducing...
The purpose of the workshop series, Introducing..., is to acquaint DSA members and the community to different mediums and methods in the visual arts. In conjunction, the attendees will get to know the instructing artist, their background, and tips and tricks of their trade.
