Kid Whisperer University 2018
Are you a parent, grandparent, teacher, principal, bus driver, cafeteria worker, daycare supervisor, after-school program director, babysitter, or coach? In other words, do you deal with kids (even big ones!) in any way, shape, or form? If so, and if you would like to improve your behavior management skills while strengthening your relationship with the children in your care, make plans to attend the Kid Whisperer University Summer Conference!
Join us in Dayton, Ohio for an intensive 3-day workshop August 1-3, 2018. Scott Ervin, The Kid Whisperer, will teach you The Nine Essential Skills for the Love and Logic Classroom™ including how to neutralize argument, delay consequences, utilize empathy, utilize the recovery process, build positive relationships, utilize choices to prevent power struggles, utilize enforceable statements, utilize quick and easy interventions, and guide kids to own and solve their own problems. These strategies are immediate, simple, and get results.
Use of these skills at home will allow parents and caregivers to improve and repair relationships with their children and regain control of their house and their sanity. Use of these skills in the classroom will allow teachers to have more energy, more time to deliver quality instruction, and will ensure a calm, respectful classroom environment. This, in turn, will raise test scores, increase positivity in the classroom, and improve students’ self-esteem and problem-solving skills. Attending this conference will allow both new and experienced educators to start the school year with the confidence and skills necessary to ensure a successful learning environment for all students.
