Participants at all levels of experience from novice to expert will be able to:
-Learn why shouldn't be about what the organization needs, but about the alignment between the project or organization and what the funder cares most about.
-Discuss the factors to consider when deciding whether to invest in pursuing a grant opportunity.
-Practice a pre-writing technique that will sharpen their ideas and lead to clearer, more compelling writing.
-Examine a sample winning grant proposal to identify the elements that make it work.
-Craft a "core compelling idea" about their own organization that can be put to work in their next grant proposal.***
