There are some great local getaways. We thought we would mention a few, and one in particular I have been to that my husband and I just absolutely fell in love with. Are you ready to impress your sweetheart?
Golden Lamb Inn - If you and your sweetheart enjoy antiques and fine dining, you are sure to enjoy the Golden Lamb Inn Hotel and Restaurant. This fine establishment is in the heart of Historic Lebanon, and it's Ohio's oldest hotel! For Valentine's Day, there is an "Overnight Dinner Package" that includes a hotel room for two, champagne in complimentary Golden Lamb logo flutes, handcrafted chocolate truffles, dinner for two, and breakfast. You are free to book Thursday through Saturday, and there will be live music during the weekend.
Kirkwood Inn - The Kirkwood Inn, located just outside of Lebanon, Mason, and King's Mills, is a fine inn to celebrate Valentine's Day with your sweetheart! You can book a Fireplace/Jacuzzi Suite, and enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet the next morning. Be sure to check out An Enchanted Evening package on the website before you book your reservation!
Inn Port Guesthouse - Are you familiar with downtown Dayton? If not, now is the time to get acquainted with the Inn Port Guesthouse on Brown Street. There are two lodging options, so don't wait to call. This quaint getaway is within walking distance to Downtown shops, and right in the heart of the Oregon District! Note - although they have some availability for Valentine's Day, we're told they are already booked out for the weekend, so call quickly to reserve your spot for next Thursday!
Simon Kenton Inn -The Simon Kenton Inn is known for hosting weddings and anniversary parties, so this speaks romance! They have a pub and formal dining to enjoy, and they are going to feature a special Valentine's Day menu and French Wine Dinner. The options for rooms are abundant, enabling you to choose from four luxury rooms for the most romantic in the "Barn on the Hill", and some smaller rooms in cottages to give you a more affordable price. Their special Valentine's Menu looks very appealing!
