Local favorite Marion's, an iconic symbol of the Dayton region, is named as one of the top Independent Pizzerias in the nation by Pizza Today.

Ask any random group of people in the Miami Valley what their favorite local pizza is, it's a safe bet Marion's Piazza will consistently be a top contender. Daytonians just can't get enough of the thin crust and ground sausage that separates Marion's from other local pizza chains. It is, therefore, no surprise that Marion's were just named by Pizza Today, as #2 on their annual list "2019 Hot 100 Independent Pizzerias".
Marion's previously got the top spot five out of the past six years. The top spot this year went to Woodstock’s Pizza, based in San Diego, CA.

Family owned since 1965, Marion’s operates eight locations in the Greater Dayton area. "We still strive for the best product using the best quality ingredients,” said Roger Glass, owner of the franchise and son of founder, Marion Glass. "A lot of people eating here are second- or third-generation customers who have eaten here growing up with their families,”
