Troy Aquatic Park will open for the 2020 season under guidelines as outlined by the State of Ohio.

Troy Aquatic Park will open for the 2020 season

The Troy Recreation Board has announced that it will open the Troy Aquatic Park for the 2020 season. The facility is scheduled to open on Monday, June 15th and will close for the season on Sunday, August 16th.

Due to the limited maximum capacity of the facility due to the State of Ohio guidelines, all season pass holders that had previously purchased passes for the 2020 season will automatically receive a full refund beginning June 1st. However, pass holders may choose to apply their money to their 2021 pass by contacting the Troy Recreation Department by May 31st at (937) 339-5145. Otherwise, pass holders will receive a full refund by check that will be made payable to the payer and mailed to their address on record. If that address has changed, the pass holder must contact the Recreation Department before June 1st.

In order to meet the guidelines as outlined by the State of Ohio, the operations will be modified this season, including, but not limited to the following: 

  • Concessions offerings will be modified. As always, carry in food and beverage will be permitted. (No Glass)
  • Limited lounge chairs will be provided. Patrons will be permitted to bring their own. 
  • No Swim Team, Water Aerobics, Swim Lessons, Party Deck Rentals & Private Party Rentals (Previous rentals will be refunded) 
  • No Locker Rentals Available 
  • No Showers Available 
  • All youth must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to enter and remain at the facility

Operational Hours will be as follows: 

  • Monday – Friday 12:30 – 8:00pm 
  • Saturday 11:30 – 7:00pm 
  • Sunday 1:00 – 7:00pm 

*Month of August the pool will close at 7pm. Daily Admission Rates are as follows: 2 & Under Free Ages 3 – 5 $3.00 Ages 6 – 59 $6.00 Ages 60+ $4.00

In an effort to keep the health and safety of our patrons and staff as the highest priority, the Recreation Department will work with Miami County Health to finalize specific details related to what offerings (slides, play feature, etc.) may and may not be offered so that all mandatory guidelines issued by the State of Ohio are met. Prior to opening and once additional details are finalized about this season’s operation, further information will be provided.
