Recycle your Holiday Tree at Eastwood MetroPark

Recycle your Holiday Tree at Eastwood MetroPark

Christmas trees will be used to restore habitats at state-owned lakes throughout southwestern Ohio.

Recycle your Holiday Tree at Eastwood MetroPark

Five Rivers MetroParks will begin accepting holiday trees on Jan. 2 at Eastwood MetroPark. Trees can be dropped off through Jan. 20. The boat ramp parking area in white will be marked for tree collection during this time. Please remove all decorations from the tree before donating.

Last year, trees were collected and sunk to help the aquatic habitat and fishing opportunities at Eastwood Lake. This year, trees will still be collected at Eastwood MetroPark, but will be used to restore habitats at state-owned lakes throughout southwestern Ohio.

But wait... there's more!  You can also recycle your holiday lights through Feb. 2!  Drop off unwanted lights at recycling stations in six MetroParks locations.  Find locations here:
