United Rehabilitation Services (URS) Announces Changes to the 17th Annual Rubber Duck Regatta, Presented by Synchrony

United Rehabilitation Services’ 17th Annual URS Rubber Duck Regattapresented by Synchrony, announced today changes to this year’s event due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. This year, the URS Rubber Duck Regatta will pivot to a “virtual” duck drop on Friday, September 18, 2020, at the Dixie Twin Drive-In, 6201 N. Dixie Drive in Dayton.

The Regatta will feature 6 great prizes:

  • Floating Home Vacation Package on Norris Lake, provided by Aquaknox Marine
  • $1,000 Buffalo Wild Wings Gift Card
  • $1,000 Goldfish Swim School Gift Card
  • $1,000 Watsons Gift Card
  • $500 Target Gift Card
  • Raising Canes Chicken for a Year

All proceeds benefit vital programs and therapies for local children and adults with disabilities. Ducks can be adopted for $5 each or a Quack Pack of 6 ducks for $25 (1 duck free plus a free sub from Jersey Mike’s.)

The Virtual Rubber Duck Regatta will feature a drone video on the Dixie Twin’s two giant screens, created by photographer Andy Snow of a previous Regatta. The winners will be chosen by random drawing on the computer and announced live at the event, followed by a family-friendly movie. The gates open at 7 pm and the Virtual Rubber Duck Regatta begins at 8:15 pm.
