On a 1-mile walk through the Glen, we’ll search for elusive winter birds like the Hermit Thrush, Golden-Crowned Kinglet, Winter Wren, and Red-Breasted Nuthatch.

On a 1-mile walk through the Glen, we’ll search for elusive winter birds like the Hermit Thrush, Golden-Crowned Kinglet, Winter Wren, and Red-Breasted Nuthatch. All ages and skill levels encouraged. $5, Glen Helen members free. Trailside Museum.

    Glen Helen is a 1,000-acre nature preserve of woods, waterways, prairies, and fields, laced with 25 miles of trails. The grounds are open daily, dawn to dusk.
