Live Music by Ma Soul
In the early winter months of 2008, a college student named Remey Williams began to brainstorm names for a possible record label specializing in "soul music.” With that in mine and with purpose of creating music for the soul, Ma Soul Entertainment was created.Remey now needed a group of stellar artists to compliment his music. The Ma Soul roster includes: Tyler Lawrence, Michael Williams, Theresa Davis, Jacqueline Smith, Annette James,Kwame' Hines Kristen Anderson, and Remey Williams as a feature producer and song writer. In fact, all of the Ma Soul artists are song writers in their own right. In spring 2010 the Ma Soul roster released a self-titled mix tape including all of its artists. Ma Soul Mixtape Volume I was and still is in high demand all over the country, and now they are currently working on a follow-up mixtape. Ma Soul Entertainment is beginning to blaze a path of its own, creating in-depth music contrary to the superficial and momentary financially gaining music that now populates mainstream media. Ma Soul is the next force to take the world by storm!
