STEM Class- Craters & Meteorites

STEM CLASSES

The classes are taught by an engineer with an aerospace degree. He has 20 years of experience designing special machines and robotic equipment that are used to make everything from automotive parts to kitchen blenders.

Craters & Meteorites:  Learn about what killed the dinosaurs, Meteorites.  We will explore what happens when a meteorite hits an object like the Earth or the Moon and creates a crater.  Then in a hands-on experiment we will learn how scientist can study a crater and estimate how big the meteorite was that created it. 

Ages:                      8-12 years

Class Size:             5 minimum / 10 maximum

Location:               Vandalia Recreation Center
