STEM Class- Egg Drop

STEM CLASSES

Explore science, math, and engineering topics in this series of fun interactive classes. The classes are taught by an engineer with an aerospace degree. He has 20 years of experience designing special machines and robotic equipment that are used to make everything from automotive parts to kitchen blenders.

Egg Drop:  Learn what momentum and impulse are.  We will discuss how different materials carry loads and change momentum into a force.  Then in honor of Nation Engineering week using different materials we will build our own safety capsules to protect an egg that we will drop test.

Ages:                      8-12 years

Class Size:             5 minimum / 10 maximum
