Howl in the Park
Howl in the Park Festival offers fall activities such as games, pumpkin painting, carriage rides and storytelling from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, October 25, in Countryside Park. Kids also can get their faces painted, ride in a miniature train pulled by a tractor, play inside an inflatable, and explore fire trucks and public works trucks. Washington Township Fire Department’s emergency equipment will be on hand for tours and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s SWAT vehicle will provide Halloween safety awareness information.
Concessions include fall treats such as caramel apples, cider, waffles, cookies and cotton candy. The festival cost is $4 per person, except for children under 3 years who attend for free. The cost to combine Howl in the Park and a Haunted House is $6, except for children under 3 years who are free. For details, contact Linda Madden at 438-7985.
