Young Potters: Children's Clay Classes at Decoy Art
Ages: 9-12 years
Fee: $52 per student. Includes all materials, tools and firing.
Time: Tuesdays: 4:30 – 6 pm**

These two-week sessions are the perfect starting class for kids 9-12 who want to try out the potter’s wheel. Week 1 will learn the basics of
wheel throwing and week 2 we will glaze their creations. Kids are encouraged to take multiple sessions to hone their skills.
- October 22 & 29: Cups
- November 12 & 19: Bowls
- December 10 & 17: Cups
*Due to the nature of the class, it is important for students to feel comfortable being hands-on with clay and to be attentive during class. Physical injuries will prohibit students from using the pottery wheel.
