Heart of Centerville A Community A Fair

Fourth Annual Heart of Centerville and Washington Township Community A’Fair, Saturday, May 2nd at Cross Point Shopping Center 101 E Alex Bell Rd, Centerville, OH 45459.

Centerville, Washington Twp. - The 87+ local retail, professional service and non-profit organizations that make up the Heart of Centerville/Washington Twp Business Community are proud to announce the Fourth Annual Community A’Fair Business Expo, from 11AM until 3PM on Saturday, May 2nd at Cross Point Shopping Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Community A’Fair is a one-day merchant expo that features more than 75 exhibits, grand raffle prizes, 75 door prizes and local food providers. As a reprieve from the winter doldrums outside, local businesses, organizations and service clubs team up to assure that visitors enjoy a fun day indoors learning and enjoying what Centerville and the Township have to offer.

Heart of Centerville & Washington Twp. is an organization that brings together local businesses and organizations that have a vested interest in building a strong, vibrant local community. Members meet weekly to share ideas, opportunities and experience. Member organizations include local businesses, service organizations, senior care facilities, library, and parks. . HOC will also debut its new campaign, “Shop, Eat and Invest Locally. Keep the money in the community and multiply the benefits.”

“Studies have shown that for every dollar spent locally there is a 4X effect on the local economy. When businesses join forces to give back to the community there is a similar multiplier in the impact that support can have. The Community A’Fair is a great example of wide-ranging cooperation building a strong community,” says Patrick Beckel, president of the Heart. “The city, schools, township, shops, retailers, professionals and other non-profits work to make this a successful event.”

Last year’s expo attracted over 3000 visitors and attendance this year is planned to be at least 20% higher. The event is open to HOC member and non-member organizations. Exhibitors can register by going to heartofcenterville.com and downloading an application.
