Join the National Model Railroad Association for our 41st Annual Dayton Train Show.
Presented by the National Model Railroad Association, the Annual Dayton Train Show at 11am-4pm at Hara Arena, 1001 Shiloh Springs Rd., Dayton, Ohio.
This is the largest exhibition of operating layouts in Ohio! There is over 84,000 square feet including 20+ operating layouts, over 500 dealer tables, hourly door prizes (including 2 Thomas Train sets per day), over 35 exhibitors, How-to clinics on train care and model building, train rides for kids, Boy scouts can earn Railroading Merit Badge (pre-registration required). There will be displays on Lone Eagle Payne who started our Division and Allen McClellan will appear along with displays of his V&O cars and his book on the ground-breaking V&O model railroad. He will sign cars or books for anyone who has them (book copies available for purchase at the show). A representative from The Warther Museum is appearing with an original 1920’s carving of the “999” Steam Engine done by master carver Ernest “Mooney” Warther. There will also be information on the museum which contains many more of Warther’s carvings. This engine is not only a piece of art, but also a piece of history.
