Opening initially off-Broadway in 1960 this delightful show is billed as the world’s longest running musical, having logged 17,162 performances when it closed in 2002. The Fantasticks is a funny and romantic musical about a boy, a girl, two fathers and a wall. The narrator asks the audience to use their imagination and follow him into a world of moonlight and magic. “The show hasn’t lost its appeal; it feels like a game of make-believe.
