The newest member of the Dayton area’s local food movement, The Wright Place, has opened reservation lines for two consecutive weeks of Holidays at Holiday Inn. With menu execution and kitchen direction overseen by executive chef Justin White, both Thanksgiving Brunch and Breakfast with Santa events will take place in the Grand Ballroom at the flight-inspired newly designed Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn (which can accommodate a larger volume of guests than the restaurant). Chef White invites community members to leave the heavy cooking up to his dedicated team and enjoy a relaxed holiday meal amid a festive atmosphere.
“Like the restaurant’s namesake indicates, we look to embrace our region’s history and landscape,” said chef White, who promotes a farm-to-table culinary concept at The Wright Place. “Our Thanksgiving Brunch in particular is a traditional family feast emphasized by locally-sourced, seasonal products and innovative preparation.”
From 11 am to 2 pm on Thursday, November 24th, the extravagant Thanksgiving Brunch will feature an abundant array of local farm-driven, chef-crafted offerings, including: harvest salad, roasted turkey with hand-made stuffing, whipped potatoes, sweet corn bake, green bean casserole, baked ham, roasted root vegetables, fresh breads, assorted desserts and more. Additionally, a dedicated bartender at the Champagne Bar will sling made-to-order drinks like mimosas or peach Bellinis to anyone looking to spice things up. The cost of the Brunch is as follows: adults - $26,95, seniors (60+) and military - $20.95, kids (6-12) - $13.95, kids under 5 – free (non-alcoholic beverages included in the meal price, Champagne Bar drinks are $5). From 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, December 3rd, Breakfast with Santa features an exclusive morning with the Jolly Old Elf. Santa will make special stop at Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn to meet with children of all ages. The celebratory breakfast is where young ones can personally deliver their Christmas wish lists and families can have the opportunity to take their annual Christmas photos before or after an extensive buffet of breakfast favorites like: scrambled eggs, sausage, French toast, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, muffins, freshly-squeezed juices, coffee and more. The price for Breakfast with Santa is as follows: adults - $13, military and seniors - $10, children (5-12) - $8, 5 and under – free.
