The Grand Tour

Acclaimed French pianist Emile Naoumoff helps the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra open its Classical Series with The Grand Tour, highlighting the global, widely divergent flavor of Aaron Copland, Edvard Grieg and Peter Tchaikovsky. Naoumoff has performed with a slew of orchestras around the world, including the Berlin Symphony, the Vienna Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony, and the Moscow Symphony.  He will showcase the beauty of Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor, a piece that, to Richard H. Stein, speaks of the “joy of life, longing and youthful fire.”
