Atlanta Rhythm Section & Pure Prairie League

Atlanta Rhythm Section

Atlanta Rhythm Section has been part of the Southern Rock scene for more than 30 years. With multiple gold and platinum albums to their credit, the band’s hits include “So Into You,” “Imaginary Lover,” “Doraville,” “I’m Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight,” “Champagne Jam,” “Angel,” “Do It Or Die” and “Spooky.” With 15 albums of outstanding songwriting and performances, the Atlanta Rhythm Section represents all the good things the phrase “classic rock” implies.

Pure Prairie League

When Pure Prairie League formed in 1970, no one had put a label on the music they played. Although the band drew heavily from 1960s rock, the group added a heavy dose of country and high-flying harmony that gave it a unique sound soon to be known as country-rock. Pure Prairie League reached mainstream radio listeners by the mid-1970s, as singles like their 1975 hit “Amie” climbed the Billboard charts. Other hits include “I’m Almost Ready,” “Let Me Love You Tonight” and “Still Right Here in My Heart.”
