Food Trucks + STEM Activities + Live Music + Flying Pumpkins!
The annual EZ Pumpkin Chuck, put on by AFLCMC/EN-EZ at WPAFB, is a USAF engineering event designed to attract, inspire, and build on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) skills with students in order to develop our nation’s future scientific and technical workforce in areas such as aviation, aerospace, and defense.
This event will have teams from engineers, students, and hobbyists building trebuchets or catapults to launch pumpkins for distance and accuracy competitions. This event is open to the public and all are welcome to take part in the festivities by building one of these historic chucker machines, baking a scrumptious pumpkin pie, or just coming out to enjoy some good food, homemade pumpkin pie, and watch the gourds fly.
