New Play Readings

On June 19th at 2pm, the Ohio Playwrights Circle, in association with The Dayton Theatre Guild, will present a new script reading of: Abide in All Things, by local playwright, Karen Righter.  Set in wealthy and scholarly Timbuktu in 1591, this story of true love focuses on the lives of six people in the African Islamic city, despite crushing obstacles. Please note: Adult themes.

If you enjoy the excitement and satisfaction of exploring new work and new writers, please join us and share your feedback with Karen and the actors after the readings.

The Dayton Theatre Guild is providing their theatre space at the Caryl D. Philips Theatre Scape, located at 430 Wayne Ave., Dayton Ohio 45410. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. The Ohio Playwrights Circle (OPC) exists to bring opportunities and education to Ohio playwrights. OPC is a project of the American Artworks Foundation.
