KidX Club Event Series Kick-Off
Dayton Mall, the largest regional shopping destination in the Dayton-Springfield area, will officially kick-off its new KidX Club program (formerly Momtopia) with its first event “X Marks the Spot” on Saturday, June 11, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. This free, interactive children’s event, which will be held in center court, is the first of many KidX events to be held throughout the year.
The event, presented by Great American Cookie, will kick off at 1 p.m. with a performance by award winning comedian and juggler Matt Jergens. Following the show, the infamous Captain Hook will lead children on an “X Marks the Spot” mall-wide treasure hunt. At each “X” on the hunt, children will be greeted by either a super hero or a princess character. The treasure hunt will end near JCPenney where children will be treated to a petting zoo hosted by Mr. Cowpie and his amazing animals, a fun reward for finishing the treasure hunt.
The KidX Club at the Dayton Mall will treat kids to first-hand experiences through an annual calendar of events that are meant to inspire them to explore, experience and excel. Registration is free and new members will receive a welcome bag filled with a membership card, program information, special gifts and exclusive retail offers.
