Jake Shimabukuro

You may call him a ukulele wizard or the next Jimi Hendrix.  Rolling Stone declared him a musical “hero.” With his complex finger work and unique combination of musical elements, this Hawaiian musician has redefined the ukulele from an under the radar instrument into a musical phenomenon. Shimabukuro landed in the spotlight in 2006 after his rendition of “While my Guitar Gently Weeps” was posted online, becoming one of the first viral YouTube videos. Since then, he has wowed audiences on TV shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Late Night With Conan O’Brien and he has played in front of the Queen of England. Shimabukuro’s 2011 CD “Peace, Love, Ukulele” reached #1 on Billboard’s Top World Music Albums in 2011 and 2012. This is a one of a kind talent you’ll have to see to believe.
