Kids Create - Make and Design a Canvas Tote

Drop off is at 5:25, please do not drop off earlier as I may be in a private lesson.

We will first eat pizza dinner (cheese) from the Beavercreek Pizza Dive.

Kids Create is creative play while learning something fun and useful.  This is an effective and easy way to introduce your child to sewing.

This workshop will be three hours of learning and creative play.  Kids will learn sewing basics which include machine, filling a bobbin, threading, and seam allowance.

Then, the kids will use stamps and precut blocks to block print canvas then make a canvas tote bag!  This class is a little but surface design and a little bit sewing lots of creative play for the kids!

Ages: 8-17

Max Students: 6

All supplies included:

1/2 yard of 60″ wide canvas

Thread 

Sewing Machine (please do not bring your personal machine to this class)

Size 16 needle to use during class

Sewing Kit to use during class

All block printing supplies will be available to use during class. 

**You may also have your child bring a snack, please refrain from packing anything with nuts as a precaution for the other children**

Parking on Grange Hall; Park in Decoy/Knickerbocker Lot

Follow either sidewalk on the side of building to the studio door that faces Dayton-Xenia.
