Creating Organic Form & Surface in Clay Lecture and Demonstration

Sculptor and educator Carrie Longley will demonstrate how to use a variety of subtractive and additive techniques including slip trailing, stamping, carving, press and slip molds to create organic form and surface in clay. The audience will also learn how to incorporate high temperature steel wire to clay forms to add variety and movement to the composition. Free Ages: high school to adult.
