Rain Barrels and Gardens

The Miami County Park District partnered with Miami County Soil and Water will host “Rain Barrels and Gardens” on April 22 starting at 6:30 p.m. at Lost Creek Reserve, 2385 E. State Route 41 east of Troy. Celebrate Earth Day by learning how to build a rain garden and make a rain barrel. Participants will be able to take their rain barrel home. Cost for class is $40 (includes rain barrel). Class is limited to 25 participants. Must register for the program by calling Miami County Soil and Water at (937) 335-7645.

Lost Creek Reserve

Rain Barrels and Gardens is taking place at Lost Creek Reserve, which is located at 2385 E. State Route 41 in Troy. Lost Creek Reserve - Great place for hiking, cross country skiing and viewing wildlife. 457 acres and 3.4 miles of trails, taking you past fields, wooded areas and the Lost Creek. - read more
