Humane Society Fundraiser: Oh, Sweet Chocolate!
What could be better than all the chocolate you can eat? Helping out the homeless pets at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton at the same time, of course! On Sunday, Oct 11 between 1 and 4 p.m. the Humane Society of Greater Dayton is having an all-you-can-eat chocolate fundraiser at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 33 E. Fifth Street in Dayton. The purchase of one ticket allows you to access to a world of chocolate cakes, candy (including the chocolate fudge that won best-of-show at the Montgomery County Fair), cookies and more! Both professional chocolatiers and home bakers are involved in the event (see list of professionals below). Tickets cost $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Children younger than 12 are $6 in advance and $8 at the door.
You can wash down all this chocolate goodness with a beverage from the milk bar, and then listen to live music while you browse the silent auction items and visit with some of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton's adoptable pets - and all for the purchase of one ticket! All proceeds benefit the animals in the Humane Society of Greater Dayton's Foster Program.
