Homearama Touring Edition 2016 Kicks Off

The Home Builders Association of Dayton will kick off its 2016 Homearama Touring Edition presented by Vectren on Friday, July 22, 2016. The Homearama event will showcase 10 newly constructed homes located in seven communities throughout the Miami Valley.

The scattered-site tour will feature homes to suit any budget or lifestyle. House prices range from $129,000 to more than $1.5 million and the best of urban, suburban, rural, small town and estate living will be displayed. Many of the homes have already been sold, making the 2016 Homearama Touring Edition the only opportunity for the public to view the houses.

Homearama tickets are available for purchase for $12 at local Kroger stores, online at DaytonHomearama.com or by downloading the free Dayton Homearama Touring Edition mobile app. The Dayton Homearama app is available through the iTunes App Store or Google Play. Walk-ups without tickets will be charged $15 at the doors of Homearama houses; all guests over the age of five years must have a ticket to enter.

Homearama tickets are good for the duration of the show, from July 22 until Homearama concludes on August 7, 2016. The houses will be available to tourMonday-Thursday from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM and Friday-Sunday from 12:00 PM-8:00 PM. Guests are able to visit each Homearama house once, then can choose a maximum of two homes to repeat a visit.

Guests that register their tickets at the DaytonHomearama.com website or through Dayton Homearama mobile app and visit six or more Homearama houses are eligible to vote for their favorite homes in the 2016 People's Choice Awards presented by 84 Lumber. Homearama guests that vote will be automatically registered for a chance to win a prize. The prizes, donated by Audio Etc..., Morris Home Furnishings and Watson's Home Store, will be distributed to randomly selected winners after voting concludes on August 22, and the winning builders will be announced in September. Votes can be submitted through the DaytonHomearama.com website or the Dayton Homearama Touring Edition mobile app. Categories include: Best Exterior and Landscaping, Best Interior Design, Best Kitchen, Best Owner's Suite, Best Overall Home and Most Innovative Home.

In addition to beautiful homes, several Homearama houses will hold tag sales of furniture used to stage the homes and offer seminars with speakers from local companies and industry professionals. These professionals will give the public an opportunity to ask questions of the experts. Seminars will encompass topics such as outdoor living, landscaping and interior design.

The 2016 Homearama Touring Edition will offer complimentary tickets to active duty military personnel and their families as a way to thank those who serve and defend our nation. Key-Ads has partnered with the Home Builders Association of Dayton, G.A. White Homes and R.M. Clemens Company to offer a maximum of four Homearama tickets when a Military ID is shown at the doors of two builders' homes - Chateau Sérendipité by G.A. White Homes, located in Beavercreek Township (2081 Forest Bend Drive, Beavercreek Township, Ohio 45385) and the Grey Field by R.M. Clemens Company, located in Bellbrook (1661 Fox Trial, Bellbrook, Ohio 45305). Ticket supplies are limited and tickets must be picked up during Homearama show hours.

This year, Homearama will invite guests to participate via social media in a Selfie Campaign to show what they like most about the 2016 Homearama Touring Edition by sharing photos on Facebook or Twitter, including the house number in their captions and directing posts to @DaytonHomearama or #DaytonHomearama.

Driving directions, a Homearama house locator map and up-to-date information on the homes, builders, seminars and more can be found on the DaytonHomearama.com website or the free Dayton Homearama mobile app.
